SOOO this week was absolutely insane, but amazing! On Tuesday I had changes to my new area in San Felipe, REU with Hermana Perea. I was there for three days and was trying to learn the area and all the members for when we had intercambios. On Thursday, when we did the first intercambio, I don't know what happened, but president called us and told us to come to the office! So when we got there we found out that my companion was actually going to train one of the new Hermanas that was in Tzununa. But he did the changes so that this new sister was going to go to San Felipe with my companion and so I had to pack ALL my things again and go to Tzununa, which now is my new area! haha. So I was in Tzununa for a day with the Hermana that was there before until Sunday. Then Sunday afternoon we went to Coateqeue to drop off this Hermana and get my new companion who is Hermana Morales. She is the CUTEST! She is 25, from Mexico, and I love her so much! She's a chemist and super smart. So she and I are both brand new to the whole Hermana Lider thing and we're learning together, in a new area and everything!
It was so crazy and now we're here and trying to find people! We are basically starting from scratch because the area book, well let's just say it's dead, haha! It's so fun though and she is amazing, I'm so blessed that she is my companion! HOWEVER, saying goodbye in Malacatan was the hardest thing I had done in the mission, but also the most rewarding I think. I was able to see just how much these people had changed and it was just so bittersweet. One of the Hermanas brought a cake and invited the members to the church to throw me a little surprise goodbye party because we had counsejo de barrio that night. IT WAS SO CUTE and I felt so special! I'll send pics next week! It was sad though because Miriam and Henry and Edbin and Alida were all crying so hard. Hermana Alida could barely talk she was crying so hard when I told them. She told me about a dream she had had before I went to the house that first time and WOW, the most spiritual thing I think that has ever happened. God works miracles, He is amazing and I will always be grateful for all that He does for us.
I LOVE TO BE A MISSIONARYY!! Our cute little neighbors were so excited when we got to the house because they love the missionaries and it's just, I LOVE THE WORK! I love this gospel and love everything that we do. I KNOW that this is the truth. The Book of Mormon is the most correct book, this is the church of God and has his authority. I have come to love prayer so much and KNOW that God listens to us and answers our prayers. I pray everyday that everyone is doing good.
LOVE YOU ALL! I hope that everyone has a good week! My new area is Tzununa. It's tiny!! Seriously, its the smallest area in the mission and there are so many mosquitos here! But I love it, it's a lot cooler that Malacatan so I'm happy. I don't sweat as much as I did before, but I definitely miss Hermana Jimenez and my old house! But REU is cool too.
Love you!!!
Hermana Bracha
This week was such a killer week! Edbin got baptized and we had about 80 people at the baptism. It was THE most spiritual experience I think I have ever had in my life, the spirit was definitely there with us. He was so happy, in the pictures he doesn't really look that happy, but HE WAS! And the Hermana Miriam, who got baptized the weekend before helped us with everything! She and Henry are so pilas, they both have callings and are so excited about being involved in the work and the church!
